Nominees will be required to provide the information below to support their nominations. Nominees can furnish the details by downloading and filling up this documentation template.

 

Completed templates are to be submitted in both hard and soft-copies (on CD-ROM) together with a printout of the submitted online nomination form by 12 noon on Friday, 20 June 2008, to:

SECTION A – INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR ALL CATEGORIES

  3. Organisation Performance
    1. A copy of the annual report and audited financial statements, where available, for the past three years.
    2. Description on how the project/product/service has improved the organisation’s performance, e.g. in the area of customer service, supplier relations, etc. Where possible, please also provide examples.
  4. Contribution of Infocomm to Business Achievements
    1. Describe how the project/product/service has contributed to savings in resources and/or resulted in value-add to the stakeholders.
  5. Project/Product/Service Specific Details
    1. Describe the uniqueness of the system implementation/product/service. List similar/competitive implementations/products/services, both in/out of your industry, locally, regionally and globally.
    2. Describe the technology used in the implementation, and how it integrates and interoperates with the existing system(s), partners’ systems, customers’ systems etc, and the scalability of this project.
    3. Describe the capabilities of the system/product/service with respect to the technology used in the development/implementation.
    4. Describe the development/integration process, time and resources used.

SECTION B – ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR EACH CATEGORY

 

Most Innovative Use Of Infocomm Technology (Public/ Private Sector/SMEs)

 

  1. Describe your overall organisational Infocomm strategy, highlighting how this particular project has, if any, changed your business processes.
  2. State your organisation’s yearly Infocomm investments over the last 2 years, and for the next 2 years, and as a percentage of the total business spending.
  3. Describe the resource savings this project has resulted in, and indicate the turnaround time before and after project implementation.
  4. Describe responses from your partners, customers and competitors to the implementation of this project.

 

Most Innovative Infocomm Product/Service

 

  1. State and describe the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) your organisation owned as a result of this product/service, and highlight the revenue generated.
  2. Indicate the percentage of the product developed/service provided in Singapore, number of core-developers and technical support staff in Singapore, and the types of skills acquired. If foreign expertise is involved in the development/provision of the product/service, indicate the number of and describe the skill-set used.
  3. Describe how the functions and activities of your product/service support your customer organisations, highlighting the quantitative of cost-savings, productivity and quality improvement to your customers. Also include any relevant testimonials or feedback for customers.
  4. State the Return of Investments (ROI) and improvements in productivity pertaining to this product/service.
  5. State the number of countries and cities the product/service has been launched, the date of launch, number of customers and customer base per country. Also indicate your potential market and industry sectors reach for the next 2 years.

The Awards Secretariat will not return the materials submitted, and reserves the right to disclose applicants' non-confidential information as may be deemed appropriate for the purposes of the Awards. The Awards Secretariat accepts no liability for any materials that are lost in the mail or in transit.
